Welcome to the S. June Smith Center

The S. June Smith Center supports children with developmental needs through education, therapeutic services, and family-centered programming. We seek to educate children, support families and strengthen communities through our Infant/Toddler and Preschool Programs, as well as Project Together, Community Outreach, SPLASH, Miracles `n Motion, Community Training, and Tiny Miracles.

Today, the S. June Smith Center continues the legacy of Dr. S. June Smith by creating an inclusive community for every child, regardless of ability. We work within a child's natural environment to create patterns for lifelong  learning that will benefit the child, the family, and their community.

Cruisin' for Charity Date:  January 17 - 24, 2009 Cruise:  Celebrity Cruise Line, Summit Cruise Ship Initnerary:  Southern Caribbean Gather your family and friends to join you for this special fundraising cruise that provides a wonderful vacation experience while benefiting the S. June Smith Center with a donation from Celebrity Cruise Line.  Cruise from San Juan to St. Maarten, Dominica, Grenada, Bonaire, and Aruba.  Cost is based on double occupancy and varies per room selection; however, prices range from $830 - $1,110 per person. Check It Out! Did you know that the S. June Smith Center has more than 2,000 books, videos, and toys available for circulation in our Resource Room?  Come check it out Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Helicopter Ball Drop @ the 11th Annual Carl J. Witmeyer Golf Tournament Date:  Thursday, May 22 Time:  'copter flies at 5:30 p.m. Location:  Overlook Golf Course Cost:  1 Ball = $10, 3 Balls = $25 The S. June Smith Center has added an exciting component to our annual golf tournament.  The Helicopter Golf Ball Drop allows golfers and non-golfers alike to support our work in the community!  Simply purchase a golf ball ticket.  When the helicopter flies on May 22, you have the chance to win 35% of the ticket sale proceeds when your numbered golf ball is the first to drop into the target hole.  Call 717-299-4829 to purchase your tickets!
